You may schedule a course for your group at the location of your choice! A minimum of five students is required, and 10 for a weekend course. Or, if you would like a very personalized course for a smaller group, you may have up to five students at the five-student rate, or 10 students for the 10-student rate on a weekend.
All supplies and equipment are provided, so you won't need to worry about finding a laptop or projector. Just provide a room with enough space for the students to learn comfortably! We can make nearly any room work!
Classes are held on evenings and weekends along with weekdays. When you contact The BowWow Place, please let us know if you prefer a weekday, evening or weekend course, what days of the week are better for you, and what month you would like to schedule your class.
If your course is outside of the metro area, and you don't mind giving us a lift to the course site, we will fly to the nearest General Aviation airport weather permitting. We will communicate with you regarding the fly/no fly decision the night before your course. If the weather is not safe for flying, we will drive directly to the course site. Your course will not be canceled or rescheduled due to weather!
Please know how many students who will attend class so that your pocket handbooks can be ordered for you. Students can be added at a later date if needed. Also, know how many full textbooks you would like. Students can share books, and you may have them available through other sources such as a hospital library. Give an address that you would like the books mailed to - a home is usually better than a large hospital mailroom to ensure you get your shipment in a timely fashion.
For CRNAs, we will need each student's AANA number for the prior approval AT LEAST ONE WEEK before the day of class. If we don't have the accurate AANA numbers for each student, the CE will not be entered. This information is not necessary for other types of healthcare providers.
